McKinney Falls - Black & White Hiking

Ryan, Jen & I went to McKinney Falls here in Austin this weekend and hiked around for a few hours. Given that we were there in the absolutely worst time of day (noon), the light was pretty harsh. However, I got a few shots I'm pretty happy with.



Specifically, I found an underground (shaded) area with water falling thorugh the rocks and got some pretty nice long exposures.

Austin Apartment Association - Vegas Nite at Midnight Rodeo

Last night, the Austin Apartment Association had their annual Vegas Nite at an all new location: Midnight Rodeo. The venue was awesome and everyone seemed to have a great time. The company which provides the games unveiled an all-new 32-person high-speed Texas Hold-em Tournament which was extremely popular. The fastest time to go all in and lose your money? 3 minutes, 12 seconds!
