10/03/98 - Houston, TX
dAUD - MASTER - this was recorded
using my Optimus AB Omnis running to a minidisk
that i borrowed. So here's the skinny: the recording
is somewhat boomy, but not atrocious. The crowd
around us was remarkably quiet and well behaved.
The minidisk had automatic gain control but its
nowhere as obnoxious as the music AGC mode on
a d8. Minidisk is a compressed format but the
compression is not attrocious. I don't remember
doing this transfer to CD but i found the disks
when i was auditing my collection. My master CDs
have some clicks on them. I will at some point
in the future retransfer these, but it will involve
borrowing a MD player so I don't anticipate doing
it soon. Its available if you're interested. I
do have the master Mini Disks, but am not listing
them to the right because I have no way to play
them much less copy them.

in SoundForge)
1. Shaheed, 2. Doin' Something
> Chameleon > Doin' Something, 3. It's Your Thing
(feat. Sam Kinninger on alto sax), 4. So Live
